The Synigent Story
Founded in 1991, Synigent Technologies provides consulting, recruiting, and staffing services focused on IT, supply chain, and manufacturing. Our service model includes flexible contract and contract-to-hire options, and direct hire and consulting solutions.
As a result of our process and attention to detail, we experience a very low rate of consultant turnover. A high percentage of our contract-to-hire engagements result in conversions and long-term success. Using the latest in CRM, marketing and social media technology, we continue to grow strong, lasting relationships with consultants and customers across the country.
We use this same technology to stay in touch with our active consultants and potential candidates on an ongoing basis. We have built a database of over 90,000 candidates available for consideration across the country for a multitude of technology needs.

Meet The OwneR and Founder
Gary Laverdiere, Managing Director
Gary brings more than three decades of hands-on experience in manufacturing, IT, and operations leadership. He began his career as a machinist — gaining a ground-level understanding of how things are made — before moving into technology leadership roles for manufacturing organizations across North America. Prior to joining Synigent in 2020 (and becoming an owner in 2021), he served as Senior Director of IT for a large consumer products company, where he led major ERP and supply-chain transformation initiatives.
Today, Gary leads Synigent Technologies into its next evolution — expanding beyond traditional recruiting into Synigent 2.0, a forward-thinking partner for manufacturers navigating digital transformation, workforce challenges, and reshoring efforts. His leadership philosophy blends practical manufacturing insight with modern IT strategy, helping companies strengthen operations and talent pipelines for the Industry 4.0 era.
When he’s not building Synigent’s next chapter, Gary can be found working out, biking, hiking, or cheering on the Boston Bruins — usually with a good bourbon or craft brew in hand.
